About my silence…

Hello everyone,
I’ve been really silent on here for a few weeks and I feel as though my dear readers deserve an explanation. First, my husband and I just bought our first house, yesterday everything was finalized. The house-buying process takes a LOT of time. I didn’t expect that before we did it. Looking at houses, all the paperwork, dealing with the small issues that come up… it takes brain power. It is rather exhausting and this is part of the reason I’ve been so quiet on here.
This week I was planning on catching up on my reviews…. and then my hard drive died. I have been stubbornly waiting for my husband to fix it, but he’s had to order some part and that takes time, so I’m swallowing my pride and using a Windows computer for the first time in YEARS. Hopefully my laptop will be fixed soon so I can catch up on these reviews.
I plan on writing a review or two today, but I need to get some more home stuff done first. After today life will slow down a bit and I will have more time and brainpower to dedicate to this bit. However, despite that, I WILL have a review posted tonight and I have a discussion I’ve been meaning to write for a while now. I’ll write it out and schedule it to post on Sunday.
So there you have it. That’s why I’ve been quiet. I apologize for abandoning my blog.

It does. Congratulations, Sarah! I already had heard about the computer woes. And you know I know from that recently…

    No apologies needed 🙂

Congrats on the new house! And commiserations on the dead hard drive; they always seem to die at the worst time, don't they?

Congrats on your new home. The fun is just beginning.I cannot imagine raising a little minion in an apt. Yeah computers ALWAYS go at less opportune times. Fixing puters helps with my bills anyways at least. I commend you using the Darth Vader of OS's
