Plan of action

I’m going to be rather quiet this week.
The reason is because I’m having my c-section first thing Monday morning. I am enjoying some quiet time to myself before this massive life change happens. I’m also incredibly busy preparing my blog, and life in general, for the upcoming weeks post-baby.
I have written (and am writing) a lot of reviews for books and scheduling them to post while I’ll be in the hospital and enjoying time with my family. This week, probably on Friday, I’ll post a schedule of all the books I have reviews scheduled for and the dates they will be posted. I’m also putting their scheduled date to post on goodreads for those who follow me over there. So, check here on Friday (or keep looking at goodreads) to see what books will be reviewed and when. I will also schedule my weekly discussions to post while I’m gone.
I am not sure how things are going to play out when I have the baby. I’ve never done this before, and while I’ve been assured that babies sleep quite a bit when they are newborns, I don’t usually function well on little to no sleep and absolutely no normal schedule. This is why I’m pre-planning all this stuff. I will probably pop in and out occasionally, but until I get my head on straight and some form of a routine down, I’m not going to be around as much as normal. And, if you can’t tell, I tend to be one of those people who likes all my stuff organized and nicely laid out. I like my life to be clean and tidy… even my blog, so doing all this helps my sanity.
Anyway, check back here on Friday to see what will post when. I’ve been hoarding books on my iPad which I’ll probably devour during late night feedings and whatever else. I’ll still be reading (I don’t think I’ll ever stop) and so I’ll probably still add reviews to the ones scheduled to post. I’m just doing all this to allow myself some sort of slack and time away.
So there’s the plan for now. See you Friday!

Good Luck! It's awesome, but don't expect to feel kinda normal again for at least a couple months. 🙂

Hope everything goes well – we'll be here when you get back, however long it is! 🙂

And so the end approaches! And the end is the beginning…

Good luck and fingers crossed that all goes well for you – and as Mark said above, we'll be here whenever you get back…

(I was going to say "we'll leave the light on for you," but then my brain stroked out with '90's flashbacks)
